Humorist is a Winners Class in Derby and had been commissioned in 1943 while Tender 437 started serving the army in 1941 and fought hard in WWII. The main purpose of this floating museum is to exhibit the significance of the said vintage vessels in the history. On top of that, the event is also a part of the preparation of the upcoming D-Day commemoration and its 70th Anniversary.

In 1944, this Humorist was visited by Winston Churchill because of its active contribution in the Royal Army.
